How to find pleasant and varied places to spend vacations together, enjoyable for each member of the family? If you use your common sense and a little imagination!

“Welcome Families”

Would you like to go on vacation in Switzerland with your children? Find out more about choosing a resort or destination with the “Welcome Families” label. Since 1996, this label has been awarded to Swiss vacation destinations that are particularly suitable for families. In order to be awarded the label, they must focus on the needs and wishes of children, parents and carers, and meet the conditions and criteria set by an independent quality commission. The commission is chaired by the Swiss Tourism Federation (STF) and sets minimum requirements for the program of activities, accommodation, playgrounds and picnic areas, childcare facilities, rental services, etc. Places applying for the label must also offer at least three additional services for families and sign the credo that obliges resorts to continually improve their offer. The “Welcome Families” label is awarded for a period of three years.

Everybody to the countryside!

Do you dream of a great return to nature and simple values? Opt for a vacation in the countryside. A multitude of offers are available in the vineyards, on the farm, in the mountain pastures, in hotels in rural areas, in teepees, etc., in all regions of Switzerland.

Vacation in covered wagon

Do you dream of going on vacation with your family in a covered wagon? It is possible! You can become your own coachman and be responsible for a horse, staying in direct contact with nature for a period of time to be defined between 2 and 8 days. An original way to discover a region freely and at very reasonable prices!
